Valley Stream, NY - A growing membership of ICCNY members and guests gathered at Diya Restaurant, Lounge & Banquet in Valley Stream, NY, for the December 5th networking dinner and meeting of the Indian Chamber of Commerce of New York. After open networking and socializing, the guest speaker, Mr. Adam D. Cline enlightened the membership on several valuable aspects of long term care insurance pertinent to Long Island and our community.

Passed hors d'eouvres and a sumptuous cocktail buffet at Diya Restaurant started the evening. The quality of the restaurant and bar service exceeded our previous occasions. Members were impressed with the level of attentive buffet service and quality of the dinner and desserts, which followed the speaker. It was a unanimous success.

The guest speaker, Mr. Adam D. Cline, believes that today, nobody's estate or legacy should be lost to a long term illness.

Evaluating the pros and cons of media coverage of his areas of specialty, Long Term Care Insurance and asset protection, Mr. Cline noted that in the news, not enough accurate information and statistics are presented.

Using actual examples, Mr. Cline demonstrated how expert guidance in several areas of LTCI can be crucial to accomplishing your personal needs, including evaluating the Risk Pool of your proposed policy.

Activities of Daily Living (ADL's), Benefit Triggers, Policy Design Components and Riders were covered in the overview, leaving the membership with high appreciation for the benefits of thoughtful planning, with the assistance of a knowledgable and experienced professional consultant.

Mr. Billy Singh, the Director of the Chamber Board who introduced Mr. Cline, took the microphone again to announce that all active ICCNY members as well as their spouses, children, parents and grandparents are eligible for a special group discount, 10% of premium (every year), when they buy Long Term Care insurance.

Next month's meeting will be held January 30th, 2008.
